Tess(Anatoly's American aunt):  Of course,you can. You can get  a charge card from one of the  large furniture stores. This is       
a card for credit at one store.  Most large stores have  their  awn charge cards.

A:Where I should apply for this card?                                 

T:Apply directly to  the  store  for this card. 
                     
A:What about major credit cards?      

T:You can use Visa, Master Card,  or American Express.  These are  cards from a  bank or  a credit        
company.                              

A:Where can I use these credit   cards?                             

T:You can use them at many different stores, restaurants, and  hotels.

A:Where can I get an application for major credit cards?           

T:There are application forms for  major credit cards at banks and at   some hotels.                         

A:Would you tell me about various  kinds of credit?                  

T: There are two kinds of credit:  monthly accounts and revolving accounts.                             

A: What's the difference between them?

T:Monthly accounts must be paid in  full every month.You don't have to pay interest in this type of account.In a revolving account,you pay  a part of the total bill. You also  pay interest on the unpaid balance.   
                                      
A:How much is the interest?           

T: The interest can be as high  as 20%.This means that you are paying much more than the  cost of  your  purchase.Credit cards can be  useful,but they can also be expensive.   

A:I think it depends on  the  card holder what kind of credit he prefers.

T:You are perfectly right. I  have   several credit cards.Since I don't want to pay any interest, I pay my bills in full.                  

A:Are American credit cards accepted overseas?                        

T: Not all of them are acceptable  there.But if you use American Express, you won't have any trouble  in stores,restaurants, and hotels     
the world over.
